On the way here, I dropped by the Seattle Premium Outlets and got a nice pair of converse shoes. It's cool cause I got it for $20.00 which is pretty darn cheap. Anyways... after that my dad and I just headed to our place down here and got settled in.

Everything here seems so different! There's so much highways and things don't look as friendly as back home. Now that I think about it, I haven't been anywhere in Vancouver. I've only been to Kits once, and that was last month. I still get lost in downtown, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam; pretty much everywhere outside of Burnaby. -this summer, I'm going everywhere!

Back to Lynnwood, again. Tomorrow I'm going job hunting! I was just planning on walking around the area and applying to places. Good luck to me with the recession.

2.0 Holiday Update

I don't know about other people, their family, and the holidays, but mine is super hectic! My family being so big (My grandparents had 9 kids on my mom's side), this season is a hustle and bustle.

Starting from the 23rd, which is my grandfather's birthday till the 1st of January (which is of course, New Years day), we have continuous events happening. We start with my grandpa's birthday, then my grandparents' anniversary, then Christmas eve, then Christmas day (we watched Bedtime Stories), then my cousin's sleeping over, to boxing day, then comes my Aunt's birthday, then we go to our grandparents' house for brunch. Later that same day, we go to our Aunt's place for dinner. And we are finally caught up to today. (Note: I tried to keep it simple by just saying "aunt" or "cousin". Please do keep in mind that I have a LOT of aunt's and a LOT of cousins)

In the coming days, the events planned are my cousin's birthday, work, snowboarding up at Mount Seymour, and New Years.

On that note, I would like to announce that I went snowboarding for the very first time in my life today! It was a rough start as I kept falling in every direction (front, back, side, head, rolling). I was lucky enough to have my friends help teach me a few of the basics to at least make it to the bottom safely. It was quite exhilarating as you go smoothly down the slopes. Feeling the cold air, swooshing down (if only for short periods) the mountain, and face-planting in the snow, all add to the perfect first time riding a snowboard.

It was a GREAT day today =)

1.0 The Beginning

So seeing as this is my first post, I'll keep it brief.

What, you may ask, inspired me to start writing? Starting some time ago, I would see things on the television or movies about people making entries in their journal or diary. In this way, they could confide any information, whether personal or impersonal. They could write their deepest, darkest secret, or just some random thing they thought of or saw that day. An example of this is The Diary of Anne Frank.

The Diary of Anne Frank was that itself: Anne Frank's Diary. The story would outline her life and experiences during WWII. I won't get into specifics, seeing as I've never read the book. (Although I've never read it, please don't let my actions [of not reading the book] influence your thoughts about the book [atleast for this particular example]). Duly noting, writing about one's own experiences and thoughts will serve as a remembrance.

After reading a friend's entries, this motivated me to make an account and start my own. Basically, I started this blog to give my opinion about things I see and think about. Of course, I do not expect everyone who reads this to completely, if at all, agree with me.

Well as the expression goes... To each their own.
